恵比寿　Ebisu

The great god Yaekotoshironushi no Mikoto of Mihonosaki, Izumo Province changed his name to Ebisu and spent his days enjoying fishing.

This performance tells the story of how Ebisu visited festivals all over the land, fishing for sea bream so as to wish for the prosperity of the area.

However, sea bream were not easily caught, so he skillfully used bait to lure them.

Key point: This repertoire is very congratulating program. Fishing a Tai (sea bream) expresses long life and happiness.
